Credit where credit is due: so much of the growth of my little business venture here has to do with 1) my friends having babies and 2) calling me year after year to capture their families as they grow.
Case in point? The Wilson Family.
2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018
Anna and I go all the way back to 2001 when we met as freshmen at Kansas State after both pledging Kappa Alpha Theta. After we all made the absolute most out of our time in college (so many not-blog-appropriate stories) and we left Manhattan, Anna met Mark and got hitched in 2011. Since then, they've had two smart, sassy and hilarious little girls, Elliot and Charlotte, and - despite living all the way in Louisvile - have had me take their family photos every Christmas since 2014! Anna has been one of my most vocal supporters for years and I couldn't appreciate that (or the repeat business) more.
After a one-year "it's not freezing outside in December" hiatus, we found ourselves back at Union Station for this year's session...and not that Elliot has every shied away from the lens before, but she really seemed to embrace the opportunity to ham it up for the camera in 2018.
